What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards. You can also pay in two instalments when using any of your cards. This will split the cost into two easy payments over a two month period. You can also pay in full using PAYPAL, we currently aren't able to offer the payment plan with PAYPAL.

Why does my card get declined when I try and checkout?
The Central Bank of Nigeria has reduced the limit on Naira denominated bank cards – placing restrictions on transactions exceeding $100 a month (75 GB Pounds +/- $102.16). Some banks have been more rigorous than others in implementing these changes. To overcome this issue we have added a payment plan option that enables you to pay in two smaller instalments at 1 month interval.

What time commitment is required to complete the course?
On average, it takes students between 10 and 15 hours to complete all the lessons in the course, plus some additional hours for reading and study of the resources.

How long do I get access to the course? After enrolment you will have access to the course for 60 days.

After completing this course you can visit the CIArb website at www . ciarb . org or send an email to memberservices @ ciarb . org for enquiries on how to pay your annual subscription and admission fee. Remember to send your Mediator Academy certificate issued to you on successful completion of the course as evidence.

Do I need to be online to access the course?
Yes, you will need a reasonably stable wifi or mobile internet connection to access the course. You can download the reading materials however to read them offline.

Can I skip back and forth in the Modules?
You will not be able to skip forward in the course as it is essential that you study all the materials in order to pass the course assessment. You can of course go back to revisit materials you have covered already to review them.

Do I have to read all the articles and reports?
Reading materials included with the course have been chosen carefully and represent the most up to date thinking and knowledge in the area. We recommend you read at least the resources referenced in the lessons, most are relatively short and offer a variety of perspectives on the issues you are studying. All resources can be downloaded and saved for you to review over time.

What do I have to do to pass the course?
In order to pass the course you must complete both Modules and the assessments at the end of both Modules. You must score a minimum of 55% or more in both Module Assessments to pass for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators accreditation.
